When I have fears...

"When I have fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has glean'd my teeming brain,"

John Keats has spelled wonder in this 14 line poem like no other poet could do.
Fear is an important part of our lives, and more often than not;it's our fears which sometimes bring out the  best in us.But,it's also true that our very fears sometimes incapacitate us in the worst possible way.

Everyone has his/her own share of fears-death,losing someone whom you love, becoming poor and fear of getting rejected are all but true.

I like all mortals,am morbidly feaful from my fears, that I shall fail,or rather get rejected before I start. That I shall be doomed from day one.And none could summarize it far better than Keats himself:

"When I behold, upon the night's starr'd face,
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
And think that I may never live to trace
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance;"

I'm quite fearful of the fact that thousand words of mine shall remain trapped with me,thousands of letters unwritten and thousands of regrets dying within me everyday.

But,we all do grow up,don't we?and somewhere a hope still remains within us,that inspite of our fears of being doomed, there might be a slim chance that we might struck gold after all.

I really don't know whether my ideas shall ever be met with concrete actions or whether the long unsaid words would finally escape my lips, but as I said-we all need to take the plunge.

Thanks for patiently reading the midnight babblings of a person, who's too tired to face life..
